Deploy a certificate through GPO – Windows Server 2012 R2

First export the required certificate as a .crt file.


Login to your Active Directory Domain Controller and open the Group Policy Management window.

Right click on the required Group Policy Object (GPO) and click Edit

In the console tree, open Computer Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Public Key Policies, right-click Trusted Root Certification Authorities, and then click Import.

On the Welcome to the Certificate Import Wizard page, click Next.

On the File to Import page, Browse and select the exported Certificate
