As latest post, posted in google blog, google about to discontinue support to Allo in March 2019. Allo will continue to work till March 2019 and until then you can download your content from Allo (Read the instructions)
However other Google products like Duo, Hangouts Chat, Hangouts Meet will continue work with improvements.
