According to the Wi-Fi Alliance news, after long period of time Wi-Fi security about to change with WPA3 new Wi-Fi Security standard. (“WPA” stands for Wi-Fi Protected Access)

What is new with WPA3?

The WPA3 standard adds four features not found in WPA2. Manufacturers must fully implement these four features to market their devices as “Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ WPA3™”. anyway Wi-Fi Alliance hasn’t yet explained  these standards in deep technical details.

Privacy on Public Wi-Fi Networks

Privacy on Public Wi-Fi Networks

Most peoples use the public Wi-Fi networks in, like Hospitals, Airports for access the internet, but they are actually not secure because public Wi-Fi networks are open and any one can connect. transmitting data over public Wi-Fi network not encrypted, any one on that network can intercept your data. but nothing to worry about with WPA3, because WPA3 fixes this matter by using “individualized data encryption”. When you connect to an open Wi-Fi network, the traffic between your device and the Wi-Fi access point will be encrypted, even though you didn’t enter a passphrase at the time of connection. This will make public, open Wi-Fi networks much more private.

Protection Against Brute-Force Attacks

Modern day most of the peoples use the simple passwords to protect their Wi-Fi network. Simple passwords like "123456789", "abcd123456" is easy to break with Brute-Force attack. WPA3 uses the new handshake method, with new method WPA3 will protect against brute-force attacks.

An Easier Connection Process for Devices Which does not have Displays

Modern day millions of IOT devices over the world and most devices does not have a display (Google Home, Smart Outlets, Smart Bulbs, Smart Security Locks, etc..) . To connect these type devices to Wi-Fi network you may have to use the smart phone application provided by the manufacture. WPA3 includes a feature that promises to “simplify the process of configuring security for devices that have limited or no display interface”.

Higher Security for Government, Defense, and Industrial Applications

Wi-Fi Alliance also announced WPA3 will include a “192-bit security suite, aligned with the Commercial National Security Algorithm (CNSA) Suite from the Committee on National Security Systems”. It’s intended for government, defense, and industrial applications.

  1. There are certainly loads of particulars like that to take into consideration. That is a nice level to convey up. I offer the thoughts above as normal inspiration but clearly there are questions just like the one you convey up the place crucial thing will be working in trustworthy good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around issues like that, however I'm positive that your job is clearly recognized as a fair game.
